Adobe flash player internet explorer 11 not working

The moment I change default back to Internet Explorer 11 - Adobe Flash Player will cease to work. This makes no sense to me, but since I prefer Internet Explorer I have been It simply will not work in my I/E11. It works extremely well when I switch to Chrome or Firefox. Still makes no sense to me?
